JESS is a loner: homeless, broke, and psychologically scarred by her failures in Iraq. Her downward spiral lands her at the doorstep of fellow vet Manny. However, he’s deeply suspicious of her presence... and so is the rest of the ultra-right wing militia he belongs to. Jess journeys into the murky world of the lies and liars that make up the militia, her own tarnished past, and the dark corridors of a secret weapons lab to find the answers-- and just maybe, redeem herself.
